Unique & Hard to Reach Populations

There can be many reasons why a  particular population may be hard to reach.  They may represent a very small but critical group, or they may be reluctant to participate in a survey for many reasons.

These hard to reach small populations can be found through careful, targeted recruitment using in-house and third party sample sources.  It also requires careful consideration of the interview from the respondent's perspective.

We employ a small group of mature, highly experienced professional interviewers whose job is to get past gate keepers, make our schedule fit the  people we need to interview, be respectful, persistent and always professional.

Some of our recent studies with hard-to-reach populations include:

  • A survey of 300 respondents with Dupuytren's contracture, a hereditary disorder that affects less than one percent of the population
  • A survey of over 1,000 affluent households with at least $1 million in assets, with an over-sample of households with $10 million or more
  • A survey of 500 affluent married households in which both spouses independently completed a survey about their retirement goals in the current financial climate
  • Numerous surveys with C-suite decision-makers, and other executives (e.g., VP or higher)
