RDR conducts governmental studies at all levels, and on a variety of topics.
For nearly two decades we have provided needs assessment and referenda research for several government agencies, including transportation authorities, forest preserve, park, and school districts.
The keys to referenda research studies that differentiate RDR are:
- finding registered and likely voters on referenda issues
- understanding how to gauge one's intended support or opposition for the issue
- identifying how undecided voters will likely vote on election day
- knowing how to realistically gauge willingness to pay to ensure that respondents don't "game" the question -- a common shortfall of referenda surveys
In addition RDR has conducted several studies for governmental agencies especially with hard-to-reach populations, such as:
- At-risk populations for AIDS awareness/prevention programs
- Smokers for anti-smoking initiatives
- Commuters, truck drivers and other users of major expressways undergoing significant renovations over several years, as part of a public awareness/education campaign
